Background
Planswift is one of the most widely used takeoff software tools in the construction industry. It’s powerful, fast, and popular with estimators around the world.
Their website was severely outdated. It had a clunky design, unclear messaging, and was doing the bare minimum to support the product. While people who were already interested still signed up, the site wasn’t convincing anyone new.
Strategy
The software itself didn’t need selling to existing fans. The opportunity was in converting the people who were on the fence – those who landed on the site but weren’t yet sure if Planswift was the right choice.
So we identified the three core features users raved about, and built the site around those. The aim was to quickly communicate value, earn trust, and give people a reason to take the next step.
Solution
We designed a new website that felt current, focused, and more reflective of the product’s actual reputation. We made it easier to navigate, clearer to understand, and more persuasive – especially for first-time visitors.
After launch, the difference was immediate. The conversion rate more than doubled, meaning the same traffic now delivered twice the results.
